Renowned Nigerian football administrator and supporters’ leader, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, has showered praises on Nigerian barber and Super Eagles special barber, Joshua Babatunde Aiyenuro, popularly known as T-Jos Signature, following his historic achievement of setting the Guinness World Record for the longest professional barbering marathon.
Speaking from the standpoint of sports development and youth empowerment, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao described the feat as a triumph of resilience, discipline, and Nigerian excellence, noting that Joshua’s journey mirrors the same fighting spirit seen in Nigeria’s best athletes.

Despite enduring major setbacks—including a previous disqualification attempt and the painful loss of his mother—Joshua Babatunde Aiyenuro remained undeterred.
His perseverance eventually earned him global recognition, placing Nigeria firmly on the world map once again through hard work and determination.
Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao emphasized that Joshua’s achievement goes beyond breaking a world record.
He commended the barber’s decision to launch a nationwide empowerment initiative aimed at equipping young Nigerians with vocational skills in barbering, hairdressing, and tailoring, describing it as a timely intervention in the fight against unemployment and social vices.
According to Alao, initiatives like this align perfectly with grassroots development ideals—whether in football or vocational trades—where talents are discovered, nurtured, and empowered to become self-sustaining contributors to society.
He further urged corporate bodies, government agencies, and well-meaning Nigerians to support Joshua’s initiative, stressing that empowering youths through skills is as important as developing talents on the football pitch.
Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao concluded by congratulating T-Jos Signature on behalf of sports stakeholders and supporters nationwide, praying for greater strength, expansion of his vision, and continued success as a proud ambassador of Nigerian resilience and creativity on the global stage.
