Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) will play this weekend’s fixture against Warri Wolves at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, following a decision by the league management body.

The development comes after 3SC management submitted an inspection report on the Lekan Salami Stadium (LSS), Ibadan, seeking approval to continue hosting matches at their traditional home ground. However, the league body reportedly declined the request.

While official details surrounding the decision remain unclear, sources indicate that the Oluyole Warriors may be required to stage their home matches farther away from Ibadan for the time being. The lack of a detailed explanation has fueled speculation among supporters and stakeholders.

As a result, Shooting Stars will temporarily adopt the MKO Abiola Stadium as their home venue until the league authorities grant permission for a return to the Lekan Salami Stadium.

The relocation presents logistical and fan-support challenges for the Ibadan-based club, but the team will aim to maintain focus as they prepare to face Warri Wolves in the upcoming encounter.

Further clarification from the league management is expected in the coming days regarding the status of the Lekan Salami Stadium and the conditions required for 3SC’s return.
