Sports247 reports that the 18-year-old has penned terms on a new deal that is expected to keep him at London Stadium until 2028, which Oyebade believes is an acknowledgement of his quality.

He took a look back at the days and years he has spent with The Hammers and reasoned that hem has to give plaudits to the technical crew for trusting him to deliver more for the club’s progress.

Oyebade told West Ham’s website: “I think it’s been a really good journey; I’ve learned a lot in the ten months since signing my first deal.

“I’m grateful to all the coaches who have helped me along the way. They’ve played a big part in getting me to where I am today, and all the extra work they’ve done with me after training has really paid off.”

The club also posted on X: “West Ham United is delighted to announce that Academy defender Rayan Oyebade has signed a new contract with the Club until the summer of 2028 ✍️Congratulations, Rayan ⚒️.”
