New arrival at Leicester City of England, Joseph Ayodele Aribo is singing praises for The Foxes, with a revelation that he always knew the former English Premier League champions had a very good squad, Sports247 reports.

Aribo’s switch from Southampton to their local rivals in the English Championship comes at a point when the club are in dire straits and facing financial penalties, but he is staying upbeat.
He arrived at Leicester a few hours before they were docked six points by the league’s board for breaching financial rules, meaning The Foxes fall from 17th to 20th on the Championship table.
They are now only outside the relegation zone on goal difference, following a charge by the Premier League in May for a profit and sustainability (PSR) breach in the three years up to 2023-24.
The 29-year-old Aribo arrived on loan until the end of this season from the club he joined in 2022 after three seasons with Glasgow Rangers of Scotland, where he won the SPL title and Scottish FA Cup.
The once-vibrant midfielder, who scored on his debut for the Super Eagles in an international friendly match against Brazil, also netted for Rangers in the UEFA Europa League final loss to Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany.
Aribo, who scored nine goals in 111 games for Southampton, with which he had a total of 53 EPL appearances, has played seven times this season, with his last game coming in the win over West Bromwich Albion on December 9th.
“I’ve always known the squad is good. I’m so certain (about) where we can get to and what we can do together. It’s just good to be a part of it,” Aribo told the club’s website.
