Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen reached a landmark moment in his career on Sunday, scoring his 200th senior goal and providing an assist as Galatasaray recorded a dominant 4–0 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Osimhen’s milestone strike underlinedhis consistency at the highest level, with the Nigerian forward now boasting 165 goals at club level and 35 for the national team.
The goal also continued his impressive form this season, taking his tally to 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray made a fast start to the encounter and went ahead in the seventh minute when Kayserispor defender Aaron Opoku inadvertently turned the ball into his own net while trying to clear a dangerous delivery into the box.
The hosts doubled their advantage in the 26th minute after Osimhen was fouled in the area, with the striker calmly converting the resulting penalty to make it 2–0.
The league leaders remained firmly in control after the break and effectively sealed the contest on the hour mark through a swift counterattack.
Osimhen showed great awareness to latch onto a long ball in the opposition half before setting up Gabriel Sara, who fired home from the edge of the box to extend Galatasaray’s lead.
With the result beyond doubt, Galatasaray were awarded another penalty late in the game, and this time Mauro Icardi stepped up to score and complete the comprehensive 4–0 win.
The victory keeps Galatasaray top of the Super Lig standings with 49 points, opening a six-point gap over second-placed Fenerbahçe, who still have a game in hand. Kayserispor, meanwhile, remain 17th on 15 points and continue to battle relegation.
Galatasaray will return to action on Wednesday when they host Istanbulspor in the Turkish Cup, while Kayserispor are next in league action on Monday against Kocaelispor.
