Roma, who came into the fixture as league leaders, were pushed to the limit by a resilient Parma side in an end-to-end contest that delivered six goals and plenty of momentum swings.
Despite enjoying spells of dominance, Roma found themselves chasing the game late on as Parma threatened to hand the champions a rare defeat.
Babajide, introduced from the bench, proved decisive once again. The Nigerian forward was on the pitch for just 31 minutes but made them count, rising to the occasion in the 90+9th minute to fire home the equaliser and silence the home crowd.
Her composure and sharp movement in the box underlined her growing importance to Roma’s attacking depth.
Fellow Nigerian international Shukurat Oladipo also featured in the encounter, contributing to Roma’s efforts in a match that tested their defensive resilience as much as their attacking quality.
The draw ensures Roma Women remain top of the table, maintaining a healthy five-point cushion at the summit despite dropping points.
While head coach Alessandro Spugna may reflect on defensive lapses that allowed Parma back into the contest, the character shown to fight until the final whistle will be a major positive.
