In a statement issued on Monday, CAF reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on inappropriate conduct during matches, particularly actions directed at match officials or organisers.
“CAF strongly condemns any inappropriate behaviour which occurs during matches, especially those targeting the refereeing team or match organisers,” the statement read.
CAF confirmed that it is currently reviewing all available footage from the final and will refer the matter to the relevant disciplinary bodies.
Appropriate action, the football governing body said, will be taken against any individuals found guilty following the review process.
The continental body added that it remains committed to upholding discipline, fairness and respect across all its competitions.
CAF has, in recent days, also opened investigations into other incidents recorded during the TotalEnergies AFCON Morocco 2025, including quarter-final matches between Cameroon and Morocco, as well as Algeria and Nigeria, as part of its ongoing efforts to ensure strict adherence to CAF regulations throughout the tournament.
