Nigeria international Toni Payne delivered an outstanding all-round performance as Everton recorded an emphatic FA Cup fourth-round victory over West Brom at the Alexander Stadium.

Payne was directly involved in two of Everton’s goals, providing an early assist before getting on the scoresheet herself as the Toffees dominated proceedings from start to finish.
Everton set the tone inside the opening 10 minutes when Yuka Momiki opened the scoring in the 9th minute, finishing calmly after being teed up by Payne.
The duo combined again later in the half as Momiki doubled the lead in the 34th minute, this time converting from a pass by Aurora Galli to put Everton firmly in control at the break.
The second half saw Everton turn the screw. Ornela Vignola added a third shortly after the restart in the 50th minute, further extending the visitors’ advantage.
Just three minutes later, Payne capped her excellent display by finding the back of the net in the 53rd minute, finishing confidently after an assist from Megan Lawley.
The goals continued to flow as Izzy Hobson made it five in the 54th minute, with María Pacheco providing the assist, completing a dominant team performance.
Payne’s contribution was a major highlight of the contest, underlining her growing influence and importance in Everton’s attack.
