Strong tips have emerged for Nigerian-born fast-rising basketball lass, Ehis Etute to soar this year with Oregon University in USA’s National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) competitions.
Sports247 reports that Etute already has top marks over the past two seasons in her freshman and sophomore years at Oregon, such that 2026 is expected to become her breakout season.

This comes after Etute appeared in 22 games and made one start during her freshman season, following which she got her collegiate debut on November 25th against Georgia Tech at the Hawai’i North Shore Showcase.
Etute then made her first career start on November 26th against South Dakota State, following which she went on to average 4.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 51.6 percent from the floor.
Her marks in 2025 were also quite astonishing, as she twice scored a season-best 14 points on February 6th versus Maryland and March 6th versus Indiana at the Big Ten Tournament.
She recorded a season-best three assists against Air Force on December 17th, during Big Ten play, while averaging 2.7 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game, shooting 38.5% and added 10 points at Northwestern on December 31.
Before enrolling at Oregon, Etute played for T71 Dudelange in the country of her birth, Luxembourg, where she led her team in scoring and rebounding during one season in the LBBL.
She averaged 14.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 54.2 percent from the field, then also produced 10 double-doubles in 18 games, setting season highs with 30 points and 16 rebounds.
