Arsenal of England’s Nigerian-born sensation, Bukayo Saka is set to become the London-based club’s current highest earning player, once he signs a new contract that will give him £300,000 a week in fixed wages.

Sports247 gathered that this development arises from confirmation that Saka is finally ready to put pen to paper on a new mega contract extension that will run until 2031.
This would most likely put an end to the long drawn saga and debate over terms of a new deal for the dark-skinned left-footeer, whose delayed agreement caused speculation about the possibility of him leaving The Gunners.
However, all trepidation, speculation and conjectures surrounding Saka’s immediate future with Arsenal are bound to end this week, when terms of the winger’s new deal are made public by the hierarchy at Arsenal.
It could also be a major boost for the club’s hopes of eventually clinching the English Premier League after coming close in the past two seasons, only to fall short in second position.
Saka’s new deal is expected to be worth a weekly base figure of £300,000 plus bonuses attached, which is also seen as The Gunners’ way of convincing him to stay put in North London.
A report by the Sun tabloid disclosed further that Saka’s pay-raise will place him atop a roll call of six players who are currently earning £200,000 or more weekly at Emirates Stadium.
The report adds, “Kai Havertz is the second-top money man on £275,000, with William Saliba on £250,000, Declan Rice on £225,000, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus both on £220,000, and Viktor Gyokeres on £200,000.”
