Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke Have No Reason To Complain – Arteta

Arsenal of England coach, Mikel Arteta has declared emphatically that the Nigerian-born duo of Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke have nothing to complain about in his team.

Sports247 gathered that some Gunners’ fans are worried that Eze and Madueke are not seen in recent Arsenal games, but Arteta insists both summer signings have received enough opportunities.

Eze arrived on a £67.5m deal from Crystal Palace, while Madueke switched from Chelsea earlier in the window for a fee of £50m, but they have not been able to tie down regular shirts under Arteta.

As it were, Eze has not played a single minute in the last three English Premier League games, while Madueke has started only five, with injury ensuring that only one of those has come since September.

Eze’s first half of the season was largely frustrating, aside from the hat-trick against Tottenham, while Madueke looked incredibly sharp earlier in the campaign but had his momentum stalled by a knee injury.

It has been suggested that the presence of Martin Ødegaard is responsible for limited time being enjoyed by Eze and Madueke, but Arteta insists there is no worry for the Nigerian-born pair.

Arteta retorted: “Ebs has played more games, more minutes than ever at this time. He’s played I think 22 out of 28 games or something like this. He’s never played that much football so we’re on a good track.”
