Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke has declared that Nigeria are fully focused on getting a positive result when they face Tunisia in their second Group C match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking ahead of the encounter in Fès, Morocco, the Sevilla forward said the Super Eagles are not distracted by the identity of their opponents, insisting the team’s priority is to perform well and secure the desired outcome.
“We are only focused on doing well and getting a good result, no matter the opposition,” Ejuke said.
The winger, who expressed delight at returning to the national team, noted that the squad is highly motivated and determined to make an impact at the tournament.
“It’s always a great feeling to be back with the national team. Everyone here is determined to make an impression and give everything for Nigeria,” he added.
Ejuke stressed that the Super Eagles understand the importance of consistency at AFCON, especially after starting the campaign with a win over Tanzania.
“We know what this competition demands. We want to keep improving with every game,” he said.
Looking ahead to the Tunisia clash, Ejuke acknowledged the challenge posed by the North Africans but maintained confidence in Nigeria’s ability to rise to the occasion.
“We respect Tunisia, but we believe in ourselves and what we can do as a team,” he stated.
Nigeria face Tunisia later today in Fès, with the Super Eagles aiming to build on their opening win and strengthen their position in Group C at AFCON 2025.
