Majekodunmi urged Nigerians to reflect on the year gone by and recommit themselves to building a stronger and more united country, stressing that collective effort and shared responsibility remain key to national progress.

Speaking from his perspective as a football administrator deeply involved in youth development, the NFF board member expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, particularly through the energy and potential of young people across the country.

“Our young people continue to inspire confidence through their talent, resilience, and determination,” he said, adding that sports, especially football, remain a powerful platform for national unity and youth empowerment.

Majekodunmi emphasized that with discipline, belief, and collaboration, Nigeria can continue to rise not only in sports but across all sectors of national life.

He encouraged Nigerians to use the Christmas season to promote peace, show compassion, and support the less privileged in society.

He further highlighted the role of sports as a unifying force, capable of bridging divides and fostering harmony among people of different backgrounds.

“As we celebrate, let us remember to support one another and spread kindness. Together, we can strengthen unity through sports and beyond,” he noted.

Majekodunmi concluded by wishing Nigerians a joyful Christmas celebration and a peaceful, prosperous New Year, while offering prayers for continued progress and stability in the country.

“Merry Christmas, and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.
