Idowu Boys FC of Orile-Iganmu has released a list of 30 players to battle a collection of foreign-based stars at Landmark Field, Coker-Orile on January 2nd, 2026.
Sports247 gathered that the roster is a preliminary list as only 17 players will eventually wear the club’s iconic jersey for the match against some of their seniors and colleagues who are now based abroad.

The foreign-based stars, most of whom no longer play active football, will line out under the tag of Ebere & Friends in honour of the initiator of the eagerly anticipated exhibition match.
The initiator, USA-based former attacker, Ebere Goodluck said the match is expected to be very symbolic because it is meant to serve three major purposes.
“We want to provide fun to start the new year, bring many friends back together after several years apart, and honour some of the coaches that trained us but are now dead,” Ebere explained.
Sports247 gathered further that a number of side attractions and presentations will also take place during half time at the venue to add spice to the occasion, which is scheduled to begin at 7am.
