Asisat Oshoala delivered another breathtaking performance, scoring her second consecutive hat-trick in just three days as Al Hilal Ladies cruised to a 6-2 victory over Al Ahli Ladies in the semi-finals of the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup.
The Nigerian senior women’s national team striker was once again the star of the show, producing a clinical display in front of goal to underline her red-hot form.
Having already netted a hat-trick in the quarter-finals, Oshoala repeated the feat in emphatic fashion to inspire Al Hilal to a commanding away win and secure their place in the final.
Oshoala’s remarkable run now stands at six goals in two matches, a testament to her quality, experience, and ruthless finishing at the highest level of the competition. Her goals proved decisive as Al Hilal overwhelmed Al Ahli, asserting dominance throughout the encounter.
Al Hilal will now turn their attention to a blockbuster final clash against Al Nassr on Saturday, with Oshoala’s scoring form expected to play a crucial role in their quest for silverware.
In the other semi-final, Al Nassr produced a ruthless display, thrashing Al Ittihad 5-0 to book their spot in the final. Nigerian internationals Ashleigh Plumptre and Francisca Ordega were on the losing side as Al Nassr showcased their attacking firepower to set up a mouth-watering showdown with Al Hilal.
With two of the competition’s most in-form sides set to meet, all eyes will be on Oshoala as she looks to continue her sensational goal-scoring streak on the biggest stage.
