Nigerian-born former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Olaseni Oluwafemi Joshua says he is taking Friday’s night’s fight with Jake Paul very seriously and promised ‘to deliver’ victory.
Sports247 reports that, in contrast with repeated criticism of the fight and speculation that it might end up as a fix, ‘AJ’ promised his fans all across the globe that he will not let them down.

While many critics are also raising eyebrows over Paul’s chances of standing toe-to-toe with the former two-time champ, Joshua assured fight fans and purists that he will give the very best of his ability.
He went on to brush aside any suggestion that he might show mercy to the YouTuber-turned-boxer and stressed that he will give the bout in Miami, USA all the intensity it deserves.
A report by Daily Mail added that Joshua, who has 25 knockouts in 28 wins, added that his image as a respectful personality will make him enter the ring at Kaseya Center with eyes on a tough encounter.
Joshua added: “It has to be done. Jake Paul, you’ve got some big balls and I’ve got to give him respect for taking the fight because I’m ready.
“They want to see some big heavy punches thrown and they want to see someone knocked out, and I’m going to deliver.”
