Nwaneri Receives High Grades From Arteta For His ‘Patient Attitude’ At Arsenal

Arsenal of England youngster, Ethan Nwaneri has won high marks for what coach of the side, Mikel Arteta described as the lad’s ‘patient attitude.’

Sports247 reports that Arteta took another look at how Nwaneri has remained humble, without any word of complaint during his lack of playing time with The Gunners.

While praising Nwaneri’s patient attitude, Arteta called on the club’s fans to follow suit and avoid distracting the lad with agitations for his return to the starting lineup, which could instigate the player.

The Spanish tactician also spoke in glowing terms about the technical ability of the 18-year-old Nwaneri, who scored nine goals and got two assists in his 37 games across all competitions last season.

It has been a different tale this term, though, as Nwaneri has enjoyed only 165 minutes across six games in the EPL and did not start in any.

Amidst reports that Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on signing Nwaneri, Arsenal fans want him to get back into the club’s mainframe, but Arteta says they should be patient.

Arteta submitted: “He’s a big talent; he’s got the right attitude. I’m really, really happy with him. There’s so much personality there.

“He’s still a bit quiet, as is usual for a 17-year-old. But he’s very respectful, his work ethic is tremendous, and he loves what he does, you can tell that.”
