Edo Queens continued their strong start to the NWFL Premiership with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Ekiti Queens at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado-Ekiti during Matchweek 3.

Once again, Doosuur Atume proved to be the match-winner. The forward netted the decisive goal in the 67th minute, following her previous heroics against Heartland Queens on Matchday 2, where she also scored the lone goal in the 69th minute.
