Matchday 3 of the 2024/25 NWFL Premiership delivered another exciting round of fixtures on Tuesday, with Robo Queens, Rivers Angels, Nasarawa Amazons and Remo Stars Ladies all securing important victories to strengthen their early-season campaigns.

In Lagos, Robo Queens extended their unbeaten run with a commanding 2–0 win over Delta Queens. Second-half goals from Rodiat Yusuf (50’) and Tosin Rafiu (58’) sealed the points as the Lagos side continued their bright start to the season.
There was similar joy in Makwada, where Adamawa Queens edged Ibom Angels 1–0, thanks to a decisive 16th-minute strike from Ifeoma Damian.
In Iyamho, Remo Stars Ladies recorded a strong 2–0 away victory over Confluence Queens, with goals from Anifowoshe Khadijat (12’) and Similoluwa Okesiji (90’) ensuring a perfect outing for the visitors.
Nasarawa Amazons also impressed on the road, defeating Ahudiyannem Queens 2–0 in Umuahia. Ohunene Sunday (47’) and Peaceful Ikediuba (74’) found the net to secure all three points.
In Ado-Ekiti, Edo Queens earned a narrow 1–0 win over Ekiti Queens, courtesy of a 67th-minute effort by Atume Doosuur.
Aba witnessed another home setback as Abia Angels beat Osun Babes 2–0, with early goals from Winner David (16’) and Blessing Okon (28’) setting the tone for a comfortable result.
The day’s most dramatic fixture came in Ibadan, where Rivers Angels continued their superb form with a 2–1 comeback win over Pacesetters Queens.
After Grace Saliu gave Rivers Angels an early 2nd-minute lead, Pacesetters equalised through Teslimot Balogun in the 28th minute. But Ramotalahi Kareem struck in the 40th minute to hand the visitors a vital away victory.
Meanwhile, the league announced a schedule adjustment: the clash between Naija Ratels and Bayelsa Queens has been postponed to Thursday at 8:00am due to administrative reasons.
