Super Eagles’ striker, Tolu Arokodare has been cited in the midst of miserable statistics for Wolverhampton Wanderers of England, as he has failed in taking the once-vibrant club out of their catalogue of woes, Sports247 reports.
The former RKC Genk of Belgium top scorer was again in action for Wolves on Monday night, but his presence could not save them from slumping 4-1 at home against Manchester United, and they remain last on the table.

Arokodare’s entry into the game as a 69th minute substitute was meant to beef up his side’s impact up front, but the giant striker, who has also previously played for FC Cologne of Germany and Amiens of France, failed to make hay.
Caustic and sarcastic reactions started flowing right after the final whistle, with many Wolves’ fans and other football followers slamming Arokodare’s team for pulling off several negative records this season.
One of the comments by Harry Bamforth read in part: “Last season, I thought that Southampton would be the worst team we’ve seen in the Premier League for some time. But boy, was I wrong…
“Wolves’ haul of only two points in the Premier League this season is the joint-lowest tally after 15 games of a campaign in the history of the top four tiers.
“They are level with Sheffield United in the Premier League in 2020-21, Southport in 1975-76 in the Fourth Division and Barrow and Newport County in 1970-71 in the Fourth Division.”
