OGC Nice of France striker, Terem Moffi has gained more support from the French Ligue 1 club, following the verbal and physical attack he suffered from their own fans on Sunday night, Sports247 reports.
Moffi and former Chelsea of England midfielder, Jeremie Boga were worse hit in the assault that arose due to an away defeat suffered by the team against his former club, Lorient.

However, Moffi will now take some comfort from an official public statement released by Nice in condemnation of the unruly conduct by a group of their fans.
Nice scolded the action of their supporters, who resorted to unleashing a physical challenge on their players and staff following the team’s return home from a 3-1 loss at Lorient.
Moffi, Boga and Nice’s sporting director, Florian Maurice were among those targeted directly when the team’s bus arrived back at the club’s training centre.
The angry supporters blocked the bus from gaining immediate entry to the premises, and they chanted hostile songs in an incident that lasted about 45 minutes.
The official statement by Moffi’s club noted in part: “The incidents that occurred during this gathering are unacceptable. Several club members were targeted. OGC Nice offers them its full support and condemns these acts in the strongest possible terms.”
Moffi has already been granted a week of temporary sick leave and will not be there when Nice aim for a return to winning ways in their home fixture against Angers on Sunday.
