The Africa For Peace Sports Festival mini football tournament has concluded its first phase, marking a thrilling milestone with eight top teams advancing to the highly anticipated knockout stage.
After a series of 48 intense matches, the teams that have secured their spots in the knockout round are Oyoka Boys FC, United Friends Stars, Lord Mark, Sokoh Estate, Pipeline Dragons FC, Chimoski FC, Fulani FC, and Daudu United.

These teams are now in the race for the grand prize of 1 million naira, generously sponsored by Ambassador Sheriff Mulade, a testament to the tournament’s growing prestige and support.
The round of 8 quarterfinals fixtures will continue on Saturday, November 29th, with Sokoh Estate FC clashes with Chief Fulani FC at 2:00 pm, Daudu will take on Lord Mark FA at 2:40 pm.
While on Sunday 30th, Oyoka Boys FC will face Chimoski FC at 2:00 pm, followed by Pipeline Dragons against United Friends Stars by 2:40 pm to wrap up the quarter finals.
Adding to the excitement and anticipation, the festival will soon feature the senior category (46 years and above) Allstars, injecting fresh energy into the event.
The senior category kicks off on Saturday, November 29th, with Ododeho facing Delta All-Stars International at 3:20 pm, followed by DSC All-Stars hosting Men2Boys FC at 3:50 pm. The schedule continues with Delta All-Stars International taking on DSC All-Stars at 4:20 pm, and Men2Boys facing Ododeho at 4:50 pm.
After a one-hour break, the senior category grouping matches will resume with Delta All-Stars International vs. Men2Boys FC at 6:20 pm, and Ododeho vs. DSC All-Stars at 6:50 pm.
