The coach was suspended after the team’s home defeat to Shooting Stars of Ibadan in Ozoro, a period during which his assistant, Jonny Austin, handled the squad on an interim basis.
The Seasiders produced mixed results during his absence, prompting the club’s hierarchy to conduct a thorough review of the technical setup before reaching a final decision on his reinstatement.
Sources close to the management said the management also reiterated its commitment to fostering a harmonious working environment for both coaches and players, noting that the decision aligns with the club’s broader plan to enhance performance in the ongoing campaign.
Aluma’s comeback is expected to inject renewed leadership and tactical discipline into the team as they enter a competitive stretch of their NPFL fixtures.
His strong player-management approach and organisational qualities are regarded as key assets in the club’s quest to achieve its season objectives.
Sources within the squad reveal that players have welcomed the decision, expressing optimism that stability in the technical area will translate into improved on-field performances.
Training will resume under Aluma’s full supervision immediately, with focus now shifting to their upcoming league fixture on Sunday when they host Nasarawa United.
As the season progresses, the reinstated coach will be under pressure to deliver consistent results and help Warri Wolves climb the league table. Nevertheless, the club maintains full confidence in his ability to steer the team back on course.
