Arsenal of England’s in form midfield sensation, Eberechi Eze has given accolades to God for helping him score a hat trick against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend in the English Premier League, Sports247 reports.
Eze, who was born to Nigerian parents in the Greenwich area of Loindon on June 29th, 1998, had previously described his move to Arsenal as a miracle, considering that he had previously been dropped by The Gunners’ top shots when he was 13 years old.

However, last Saturday, the Nigerian-born attacking midfielder stunned the watching world with three well struck goals that helped Arsenal stun their fierce neighbours in what surprisingly turned out to be a one sided North London derby.
In the wake of that feat, the 27-year-old England international, who was ironically on the verge of joining Tottenham before getting a last minute £68m switch to Arsenal in the summer transfer window, has thanked God for making his treble possible.
The hero of the moment, who previously played for the youth teams of Fulham and Reading, after which he got senior contracts with Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers, is also happy that he helped Arsenal get a six-point lead on top of the EPL table.
Apart from going home with the match ball, the former Crystal Palace dazzler was also voted as man of the match and entered the record book as the first player to get a hat-trick this century in the North London derby.
Eze retorted, “Happy to help the team and to win was special. I am grateful. I prayed for it. This is what I pray for. I prayed for a hat-trick so I am grateful to God.
“That was the prayer. God gave it to me and that is faith. All my family is here and that makes it even more special for me.
“All of them are good for me because I have been working on the process to get in that position. It is special. Words can’t explain this one.”
