Birmingham City of England defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel is bound to enjoy updated facilities and an improved atmosphere at a new 62,000-seater stadium if he chooses to stay at the English Championship club for the long term, Sports247 reports.
This follows an official announcement by the club Osayi-Samuel joined from Fernebahce of Turkey in the summer that they have set plans in motion to build a new home that will be tentstively known as ‘The Birmingham City Powerhouse.’

The proposed edifice at Osayi-Samuel’s club will be the central attraction in a hugely ambitious ‘Sports Quarter’ venture that the team’s chairman and co-owner, Tom Wagner is leading.
Further information from the English lower division side, which has former Super Eagles’ striker, Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins (Obagol) among its former players, indicated that the project, which will also incorporate a women’s stadium and entertainment halls, will cost £1.2bn.
A promotional video was released as part of the new arena’s introduction at an event that featured one of their former stars, Jude Bellingham and the club’s fellow co-owner, Tom Brady, who hinted that NFL’s American Football matches will hold at the stadium in future.
“We could not be more excited to share this incredible design with so many people who played an important role in making it a reality,” Wagner enthused.
