He thanked his assistant coach, Emmanuel Iheanacho, for standing by him, especially as he combines the duty with training another team, Land Park FC, at Coker-Orile.

Okere added, “I am happy with the progress we are making with Brave Heart Football Academy. It has not been easy since we started about five years ago.

“We now have players in categories of under-8, under-10, ubder-13, under-15, under-17 and free age boys. Our captain is Ibrahim Lookman. He’s a very promising midfielder ho is committed to the team.

“I also thank our Sweden-based mentor, Moses Ebuka, for allowing us to partner with his company, MSports promotions. This has really helped us to grow stronger.”
