Amazing scenes left all mouths agape on Friday evening at Ogijo Community School, as Sulaiman Idris emerged man of the match in a game that his teammate, Kolade Agunbiade scored both goals that gave Awoniyi FC victory over Golden Dollar.
Sports247 gathered that, while Agunbiade did all the scoring for their team in the under-17 category of Awo Cup 2025, it was the skills and magical touches of Idris that created the biggest talking points at the arena on the border between Ogun and Lagos States.

In his report, media officer of the competition, Ralph Esene noted: “A brace from influencial central defender, Kolade Agunbiade, and a commanding man of the match performance by central midfielder, Sulaimon Idris helped Awoniyi FC get a two goals to nothing victory over Golden Dollar in a Group C game of the ongoing Awo Cup.
“Friday’s victory at Ogijo Community School pushes Awoniyi FC to the top of Group C’s table ahead of Young Boys, though only on superior goals difference.”
