Arsenal of England’s Nigeran-born winger, Bukayo Saka has poured cold water on the heated debate that continues raging over a new contract he is expected to sign with The Gunners, Sports247 reports.
While many Arsenal fans and the media anxiously await a formal statement to confirm talks between him and The Gunners’ top brass, Saka declared that there is ‘no need to rush.’

His declaration, which was delivered in a cool and calm manner, came at a point when speculations have reached a crescendo over the in-form lad’s immediate plans and chances of him committing himself further at Emirates Stadium.
However, in spite of the rapidly growing anxiety among the club’s fans, latest reports indicate that Saka looks set to sign a new long-term deal with the English Premier League leaders.
The Gunners are flying high with the 24-year-old England international, who has been integral in another EPL title charge by Arsenal, as he has netted six goals in 14 matches across all competitions this season.
The dark-skinned winger’s current deal at his London-based club will expire in the summer of 2027, but a report out of their camp indicates that talks over a three-year extension are already nearing the final stage.
Saka, though, opted to keep his plans close to his chest, as he retorted in an interview with RMC Sport: “I don’t think anyone is really in a rush.
“I have got two years left on my contract, so it’s pretty relaxed. Everyone knows my thoughts, and I’ve let you guys know as well, so I don’t think there is much else really.”
