Plymouth Argyle of England have been hit with two different yet similar shades of injury worries, as Xavier Amaechi is still battling to regain full fitness, while Bradley Ibrahim has been ruled out for some months, Sports247 reports.
The 21-year-old Ibahim, a summer signing from Hertha Berlin of Germany, who previously captained Arsenal’s under-18 squad, is reportedly out with ‘a significant ankle injury.’

The injury copped by Ibrahim is a major blow for The Pilgrims, as he has scored six goals in 18 games after his arrival in June, but he now joins a long injury list in the struggling side.
Fellow summer signings, Amaechi and Caleb Watts have been out since August and September respectively, while one of the team’s newly signed defenders, Jack MacKenzie is yet to make his debut after he got injured in pre-season.
Though Amaechi and reliable defender, Julio Pleguezuelo have both returned to training and could be back in action by the end of this month, Ibrahim and a couple of others are still ruled out.
The League One club’s run of injuries is now a cause of serious concern for their coach, Tom Cleverley, but the former Manchester United midfielder stressed that his training routine should not be blamed for all the setbacks.
Cleverly expatiated, “It’s a freak run we’ve had. My training methods haven’t changed to last pre-season where I had a complete clean bill of health.
“All I have considered is doing less contact drills, less opposed drills in training because it’s got that serious the amount of injuries we’re getting.”
