“This re-election is a testament to his excellence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the growth of table tennis internationally,” Adeboye said. “It is not just a personal honour; it is a great win for Lagos, for Nigeria, and indeed for Africa.”

Oshodi, who also serves as President of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF), secured a fresh mandate at the ITTF Annual General Meeting, earning overwhelming support from member nations—further establishing him as one of the most influential figures in world table tennis.

The SSA highlighted Oshodi’s remarkable leadership journey, noting that his distinguished service at state, national, continental, and international levels continues to inspire the next generation of Nigerian sports administrators.

“You have consistently raised the bar of sports governance,” Adeboye said. “Your re-election reflects the confidence of the world in your leadership. Nigeria is proud of you, and we believe you will continue to lift the fortunes of table tennis in Africa and beyond.”

He added that Oshodi’s success aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ongoing commitment to positioning Nigeria as a major force in global sports administration and talent development.

As congratulatory messages continue to pour in from across the sports community, Oshodi’s re-election is being celebrated as another milestone in Nigeria’s ascent in international sports leadership.
