A veteran of many clubs in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), Jonathan Zikiye has sent words of gratitude to his agent for brokering a transfer deal that has taken him to ISSA Town Sports Club of Bahrain.
Zikiye disclosed in a chat with Sports247 that, after playing for several clubs in the NPFL, he owes his agent a lot of gratitude for helping him finally get the chance of taking his talent abroad.

The left-footed bomber, who played for Kano Pillars, Rivers United of Port Harcourt, Sunshine Stars of Akure as well as Mountain of Fire & Miracles (MFM) of Lagos, said his agent worked round the clock to make the deal possible.
He disclosed: “I am grateful to my agent, Mr Olagbemiro Micheal Oladayo (aka Ola Mykel), who worked tirelessly for this deal to materialise. I’m here because of his hard work. So, I will give my all to show appreciation to him and the club.”
Zikiye also spoke about the targets he wants to achieve with the club, tops of which is to help them gain promotion, then go on to win many matches and trophies with the team.
“My ambition is to help the club with my experience. I’ll work together with the coaches and players to reach their deserved and desired height in the league this season.
“The club’s ambition is to return to Bahrain Premier League, a place they were before, and I want to help them achieve that target,” Zikiye concluded.
