A JSS3 student at Distinction Gate College (DGC), located along Igando-Ikotun Road in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, Mohammed Arolagbade has disclosed that his biggest motivation in football is seeing the success that has been achieved by Argentine star, Lionel Messi.
While acknowledging that Messi became a global icon with his achievements at FC Barcelona of Spain, Arolagbade told Sports247 that his biggest ambition is to make money through football.

The youngster, who plays as a right-side-winger for Heart Of Lion Football Academy, with which he trains three days a week at LA Primary School along Igando-Ikotun Road, confessed that his biggest interest in football is to make money in order to turn the financial situation of his family around.
He added that he is also motivated by the story of Victor Osimhen, who sold sachet water in traffic at Olusosun area of Ojota, Lagos but is now making his family happy with his fame and fortune.
Arolagbade, who loves jersey numbers 10 and seven, disclosed further: “I want to make money through football, not because I am greedy or desperate, but because I don’t want poverty for my family when I am older.
“I like Messi and Osimhen because they are successful in football, but I want to achieve more than what they are doing. I also like Osimhen because he can score great goals.
“I also love Lamine Yamal because of his skills and passes. He is the one whose style of play I like most and I will also like to play for Barca like he is currently doing.”
