Ikorodu City continued their impressive start to life in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) with a commanding 2–0 victory over Warri Wolves on Matchday 12, while the much-anticipated Abia Derby between Abia Warriors and Enyimba ended in a goalless draw.
At the Warri Township Stadium, Ikorodu City showed great composure and tactical discipline, silencing the home fans with two first-half goals. Tomisin Adebayo opened the scoring in the 18th minute before Goodluck Anuba doubled the advantage just before the break in the 45th minute to seal all three points for the Lagos side.

The result moves Ikorodu City up to third on the log with 21 points, just two points adrift of league leaders Nasarawa United.
Abia Warriors and Enyimba battled to a tense 0–0 draw in a game that produced few clear-cut chances but plenty of physical battles.
Both sides failed to find a breakthrough despite sustained pressure in the closing stages, leaving Abia Warriors in second place with 22 points, one behind Nasarawa United.
Elsewhere, Nasarawa United were held to a 1–1 draw by Kwara United in Lafia.
Anas Yusuf gave the home side an early lead in the second minute, but Aule Johnmark equalized for the visitors in the 36th minute to ensure both teams shared the spoils.
At the Pantami Stadium, Wikki Tourists edged Niger Tornadoes 1–0 thanks to an 87th-minute winner from Nasiru Jibrin — a result that lifted the Bauchi club to mid-table.
In Kano, the Pillars were frustrated to a 0–0 draw by Bayelsa United, extending their winless run despite the backing of their home crowd.
Meanwhile, in Enugu, Rangers returned to winning ways with a narrow 1–0 victory over Shooting Stars.
Chidozie Iwundu’s 27th-minute strike was enough to secure all three points for the Flying Antelopes, who climbed to 10th with 16 points.
After Matchday 12, Nasarawa United remain top with 23 points, closely followed by Abia Warriors (22) and Ikorodu City (21), while Kano Pillars sit bottom with six points after a three-point deduction.
Three more matches are slated for Monday as Kun Khalifat FC host Rivers United, Plateau United will square up against Bendel Insurance in Jos while Remo Stars will play host to Elkanemi Warriors at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta
