The Lekki Braves, sitting in 7th place and fighting to salvage pride, produced a gutsy 22–19 victory over Lagos Alpha Flag Football, who came in ranked 8th. Both sides, painfully aware of their position outside the playoff threshold, came out swinging with an intensity that electrified the Arena.
