Victor Bajowa Opts For Striker’s Role With Venezia’s Football Academy

An Italy-based Nigerian junior secondary school student, Victor Olamide Bajowa has opted for the striker’s role in the football academy of Venezia FC.

Sports247 gathered that, although his father, Kunle Bajowa (aka BeeJay), was a left-sided winger while growing up in Lagos, the fresh-faced youngster, who was born in Italy prefers being an out-and-out striker, with a huge appetite for scoring goals.

That led him to pick jersey number nine on joining the Venice-based club’s youth sector and the fair-skinned lad, whose Nigerian mother was also born in Italy, is now the academy’s top striker up front, despite being a natural left-footer like his dad.

The fast-rising whiz-kid explained his choice thus: “I love scoring goals, that’s why I decided to be a striker, instead of a winger like my dad.

I also want to be the best player in the world and have a lovely life with my family, even after I stop playing as a professional footballer.”
