The assistant coach at Remo Stars of Ikenne, Sulaiman Kamil has charged the players to set their minds on winning their next two matches in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL),
Sports247 reports that Kamil admitted he was not happy with last week’s loss away to Nasarawa United, but pointed out that they now have an opportunity of snatching back-to-back wins from two upcoming home fixtures.

First will be versus El-Kanemi Warriors on Monday in Abeokuta, following which they also get to host Rangers International of Enugu at the same venue on Thursday, and Kamil averred that the NPFL title holders must win both games.
He reckoned that lingering pain from the loss in Lafia would spur the players to put in their very best once again, just as they did versus Nasarawa, who he noted surprisingly still won the game.
Kamil added, “I was not happy about the outcome of that match, but it was not because of what the players played. They tried their very best, and they did well from the beginning of the match until the end of the game.
“We scored first, but they equalised us in the 32nd minute. Yet my boys kept fighting until the end of the match. But, at the end of it, we still lost. That’s why I’m not happy.”
Coach Sulaiman then disclosed that he had to quickly put the disappointment behind him and quickly start planning for the two upcoming home games, which he believes will help the club get back to winning ways.
“We’ll just go back to the drawing board and prepare for our next game. We just need to do the best of what we have to do to make the boys play well and go back to winning ways.
“We have two home matches to play – Monday and Thursday – both of which are must-win for us at home.
“The boys know all this because we spoke in the dressing room, and we all agreed that we need to go back home and ein the next two matches.
“This is the right time for us to go back to winning ways, and we have all agreed to do just that,” Ksnil concluded.
