Known for his calm presence and quick reflexes, Bankole brings a wealth of experience from his time in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), where he shone as Remo Stars’ first-choice goalkeeper.
During his time with the Ikenne-based club, Bankole established himself as one of the most consistent goalkeepers in the NPFL, winning the Goalkeeper of the Season award twice and keeping over 40 clean sheets in more than 90 appearances.
His performances helped Remo Stars secure back-to-back continental qualifications and a solid defensive reputation in Nigerian football.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Bankole said he feels at home in South Africa and is eager to contribute to the club’s success.
“I’m settling in well here in South Africa, and we’ve been training hard to ensure a strong finish in the league,” he said. “Our goal is to win the league and qualify for a continental competition. The goalkeeping department is highly competitive, and we’re all pushing each other to be our best. We’re committed to giving it our all for the TS Galaxy badge.”
Standing at 185 cm, the young goalkeeper combines agility with leadership qualities that make him a vital addition to the Galaxy squad.
TS Galaxy are on the 10th position on the log with 5 victories in four matches having lost four and drew one.
