Wolverhampton Wanderers of England striker, Tolu Arokodare is awaiting a decision by the club’s hierarchy on their choice among three strong options for a new manager of the struggling squad, following their sack of Vitor Pereira on Saturday.

The search for Arokodare’a new coach, became inevitable after the dismissal of Pereira in the wake of Saturday’s 3-0 loss away to Fulham, who featured the trio of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze in their squad at Craven Cottage.

Arokodare played as a 64th minute substitute in the game that saw his team yet to win a match so far this season in the EPL, where they remain last on the table with only two draws and several defeats to show for their effortts.

Although the former RKC Genk of Belgium hitman scored his second Carabao Cup goal in midweek, Wolves slumped 4-3 at home against Chelsea and Pereira just had to give way, following which Kelechi Iheanacho’s immediate past coach at Glasgow Celtic of Scotland, Rodgers has emerged as the likely new gaffer at Molineux Stadium.

Rodgers is among the candidates, after resigning from Celtic last week, but he is up against two former bosses of Manchester United – Solskjaer and ten Hag; who are both available after their recent departures from Besiktas of Turkey and Bayer Leverkusen of Germany respectively.
