Following approval from the Congress of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), the Electoral Committee has announced the screening date for aspirants interested in filling the recently vacated board position.
According to a statement from the LSFA Secretariat, signed by Secretary Mrs. Vera Hycient-Okechukwu, two individuals have expressed interest in contesting for the board role.

“The Electoral Committee has confirmed that two aspirants have shown interest to contest and fill the vacant position on the board of the Lagos FA,” the statement read.
The screening exercise has been scheduled for Thursday, 23rd October 2025, and will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the LSFA Board Room.
The announcement comes as part of the ongoing process to ensure transparency and adherence to the association’s electoral guidelines. The LSFA continues to emphasize the importance of a fair and credible process for all stakeholders involved.
