The highly-rated defender impressed last season, regularly featuring for West Ham’s Under-18s despite still being a schoolboy. He also scored his first goal at that level in a 1–1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur.

The new additions will be part of Hassan Sulaiman’s Under-18 squad, which has made a strong start to the season — remaining unbeaten in the Under-18 Premier League with four wins and one draw from their opening five games.

Joining Ebho is centre-forward Jashayde Greenwood, who arrives from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The young striker has already competed in the Under-18 Premier League, earning praise for his strength, composure, and goal-scoring instincts.

Greenwood has also represented England at various youth levels, showcasing his potential on the international stage.

In related academy news, Chelsea also announced the signing of centre-back Justin Osagie from Peterborough United.

The new recruit has joined the club’s Under-21 side, managed by Calum McFarlane, and was recently named on the bench in their EFL Trophy fixture against Northampton Town.

With these additions, Chelsea continues to strengthen its youth setup — a reflection of the club’s long-standing commitment to developing young talents capable of progressing through the ranks to the senior team.
