Among the distinguished honorees this year is the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Anthony Adeyinka Adeboye, who will be recognized for his exceptional leadership, passion for youth empowerment, and transformative initiatives driving sports growth at the community level across Nigeria.

Adeboye’s efforts in championing grassroots sports — from promoting youth participation in local leagues to inspiring private sector investment in community development — have not only redefined sports policy implementation but have also strengthened Nigeria’s global sports reputation.

Organizers of the Nigeria-France Sports Awards described this year’s edition as “a bridge of excellence between nations, built on shared passion, innovation, and the power of sports.”

The event will feature award presentations across various categories, including Sports Diplomacy, Grassroots Development, Women in Sports, and International Sports Collaboration, alongside a cultural showcase and a gala dinner celebrating the best of Nigerian and French heritage.

The Nigeria–France Sports Awards continues to highlight the enduring partnership between both nations, fostering talent exchange, institutional cooperation, and youth development through sports.

As Paris prepares to welcome top Nigerian and French personalities, this year’s edition promises to be not just an award ceremony but a grand celebration of unity, excellence, and the limitless potential of sports to connect nations.
