Dar es Salaam – Young Africans Princess and Nigerian striker Pricious Christopher has promised fans that she will score the winning goal in today’s Community Shield final, following their victory over JKT Tanzania in the semi-final match played at the KMC Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Pricious, who previously played for Simba Queens last season, acknowledged the strength of their opponents but expressed full confidence that Yanga Princess will lift the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.

“We know JKT are a strong side and the defending champions, but we are determined to make sure Yanga lifts the title this time. We have a squad full of players with great ability and experience, and that gives us confidence,” said Pricious.
The Nigerian forward also revealed that beyond the Community Shield, her personal goal for the new season is to become the top scorer in the upcoming Serengeti Lite Women’s League, leveraging her growing experience in Tanzanian football.
“This will be my third season in the Tanzanian league, having played for both Yanga and Simba Queens. With that experience, I’m ready to help my team win and also challenge for the top scorer award,” she added.
Pricious’s confidence has ignited excitement among Yanga Princess supporters, who believe her form and determination could lead the team to a historic triumph in domestic women’s football this season.
