Yanga Striker Andy Boyeli Vows to Bounce Back After Slow Start

Young Africans SC striker Andy Boyeli has admitted that adapting to the Tanzania NBC Premier League has been challenging but believes the experience is helping him improve his performances.

The Congolese forward, who joined Yanga from South Africa’s Sekhukhune FC, revealed that his slow start was partly due to injuries and the intensity of the league.

“I’m back from injuries and I have already played three matches. I have faced strong competition from the opponent defenders, but I still hope to do well and help my team,” Boyeli said.

Despite the early struggles, Boyeli remains confident of making a big impact this season. He has boldly promised to compete for the Golden Boot in the NBC Premier League if given regular opportunities.

Yanga fans have placed high expectations on the 24-year-old striker, who earned a reputation as a prolific goal scorer during his spells with Zambia’s Power Dynamos and Sekhukhune United in South Africa.

Boyeli insists he has settled into Tanzanian football and is determined to justify the trust placed in him by both the club and supporters.
