The Africa for Peace Sports Festival is set to return for its second edition on November 15th, promising an action-packed celebration of sports, unity, and community engagement.
This year’s festival will feature a wide variety of competitions, including gym contests, Scrabble, snooker, table tennis, and mini football.

In addition, chess and fuss-football will be showcased as demonstration games, offering participants the chance to win attractive prizes.
Former Nigeria international Edema Fuludu has been appointed Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) by Ambassador Sheriff Mulade, the initiator of the festival.
Fuludu expressed his gratitude for the appointment and pledged to work closely with the organizing team to deliver a successful event.
The mini football tournament is expected to be one of the highlights, featuring two competitive categories — Under 25–45 and 46 and above — with strict adherence to the rules of the game.
With over ₦7 million in prize money at stake, the festival is set to attract wide participation and foster both competition and camaraderie.
