Dar es Salaam – The Tanzanian national cricket team claimed a resounding six-wicket victory over Kenya in their second friendly match as part of preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Regional Final 2025.
Ajith Augustin led the batting with a solid half-century, scoring 50 runs off 39 balls, while Abhik Patwa added 39 runs to give Tanzania a strong foundation.

On the bowling side, Khalidy Juma impressed with figures of 3/10 to earn the Man of the Match award, supported by Ally Kimote who picked up 3/21.
The win boosts Tanzania’s confidence as the team continues major preparations in Harare ahead of the regional final, where they will fight for a place in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
