Mama of Africa scouting invitational tournament in conjunction with Royal Priesthood Fellowship International second edition of U17 scouting invitational tournament set to kickoff in Ifo, Ogun State.
The tournament screening and draws was held at Nawarudeen playing ground on Sunday 14th September, 2025. The sporting spirit in Ifo, Ifo local government and it’s environs in Ogun State will soar this coming week as the 2nd Edition of the invitational tournament takes centre stage. Organised by a gospel singer Mama of Africa towards her annual concerts tagged “Rhythmz 4rm Above” which was now 16th Edition in 2025

The competition promises an exciting showcase of young talent and community pride.
The tournament will officially open on Thursday 18th September, 2025, with the grand finale and closing ceremony scheduled for Sunday 21st September, 2025.
The 2025 annual musical concerts will took place at Quality events center on Thursday 25th September, 2025 which will feature Funmi Harmony, Wale Eni, Mama of Africa, and Tj International to mention few.
A total of 8 teams will battle for glory at Nawarudeen Primary School playing ground Olose Ifo Ogun State which was the first time at the venue. The maiden edition was staged at Methodist High School Sports complex, Arigbajo with Home Boys crowned champion after defeating FEMMCO Football Club by a slim victory (1-0).
The scouting invitational tournament will feature 7 thrilling matches—from 8 teams in a knockout format ensuring 4 days of pulsating action for fans and scouts alike.
The organisers emphasised that the aim is to nurture young talent, inspire sportsmanship, and encourage promising athletes to pursue professional careers as SGFC Athletics General Manager & Project strategist Evolution Cup, Olatoye Olawale Abbey among other scouts will be present at the venue.
Sports enthusiasts, families, and community members are expected to troop to the venues to cheer their favourite teams and witness the birth of the next generation of football stars.
