Nigerian youngster Mubarak Suleiman has sealed a long-term contract with Czech giants Slavia Prague, completing a remarkable rise from Right2Win Academy in Abuja to European football.
The highly-rated midfielder, who caught the eye during a recent scouting exercise in the capital, will link up with Slavia’s development squad, with a clear pathway to the first team.

At just 18, Suleiman is being tipped as one of the most exciting exports from Right2Win, a club that has built a reputation for producing technically gifted players.
The deal was brokered by FIFA-licensed agent Daniel Smejkal, who has been instrumental in opening the Czech market to Nigerian prospects. Smejkal recently oversaw the move of fellow Nigerian Samuel Isife to Slavia, and has now added Suleiman to the growing list of Lagos and Abuja talents making the leap to Prague.
“Scouting in Nigeria is very important — the talent here is natural and competitive,” Smejkal said. “Suleiman showed the qualities Slavia wanted: vision, maturity on the ball, and strong work rate. I believe he will adapt quickly and develop further in Prague.”
For Suleiman, the transfer represents both a challenge and an opportunity. Known for his composure in midfield and ability to dictate play, he will be tested in the more physical and tactical demands of European football. Slavia Prague, with its regular participation in European competitions, offers a stage where Suleiman can accelerate his growth.
Right2Win officials hailed the move as validation of their player development model, noting that Suleiman’s dedication and discipline have been exemplary. Local coaches in Abuja also expressed pride that one of their own is now set to compete on an international platform.
With Smejkal’s continued involvement and Slavia’s keen eye on Nigeria, Suleiman’s move signals a deepening pipeline between Abuja’s grassroots academies and European clubs hungry for African talent.
