Paris FC of France winger, Moses Simon says he and his colleagues in the Super Eagles are staying fully foused on Saturday’s World Cup qualifier with Rwanda and brushed aside reports that they are anxious about how to defeat South Africa on Tuesday.
Sports247 gathered that heated comments have intensified on social media about desperation on the part of the Eagles to beat Bafana Bafana, after the South African team’s 3-0 spanking of Lesotho on Friday, but Moses stressed that all their attention for now is on how to first defeat Rwanda this Saturday in Uyo.

The former SK Trencin of Slovenia, AA Gent of Belgium and FC Nantes of France ace further pointed out that all the Eagles’ players are actually working hard towards winning this Saturday’s match at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Moses disclosed, “Basically now, everything is going well. The spirit is high, and we are all working so hard for the game on Saturday. We already have a high spirit, and we go first for the Rwanda game.”
Sports247 reports that more worries spread among Nigerian fans on Friday, as South Africa took their haul on top of the group’s table to 16 points, thereby making Tuesday’s clash tougher thant ever for the Super Eagles, but Simon insists they are not thinking about that for now.
He assured, “We can’t think about South Africa when we haven’t beaten Rwanda yet. But, for me, I know we are prepared for Rwanda. We just want to play and win on Saturday.”
