Sports247 reports that Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, who now plays for Al-Kholood of Saudi Arabia, led by example on Monday, as he was first among the early arrivals at the team’s abode, after which he was joined by left-wing-back Bruno Onyemachi and reserve goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie.

As the players arrived early on Monday and continued trooping into camp throughout the day, the NFF’s scribe, admitted he was excited that none of them opted out of the invitations extended to them to turn up for the upcoming matches.

He further disclosed that the NFF has planned well for the games; even as he noted that the early arrivals of Troost-Ekong and others confirmed their zeal in trying to turn around Nigeria’s World Cup fortune, then prayed that God will reward them with success.

“The preparations are on top gear. The players selected by the coach all accepted the invitation sent to them. So, I believe, by the grace of God, things will work out well for us,” Sanusi enthused.

Sports247 reports that the Eagles need to defeat Rwanda this Saturday in Uyo as well as silence South Africa next week Tuesday in order to stand any chance of taking the group’s lone qualification ticket from the grasp of Bafana Bafana.
