Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has kicked off her first pre-season with Brighton & Hove Albion Women in Spain as the club intensifies preparations for the 2025–26 English Women’s Super League season.
The 24-year-old Nigerian shot-stopper joined Brighton after leaving Paris FC, where she made 118 appearances and won the 2025 Coupe de France Féminine, famously saving two penalties in the final. She also became the first African goalkeeper to win the UNFP Division 1 Féminine Goalkeeper of the Season award in France.

Nnadozie arrives in England on the back of a stellar summer in which she helped Nigeria claim the 2025 WAFCON title, earning the tournament’s Golden Glove.
Brighton fans gave her a hero’s welcome as she linked up with her new teammates, with head coach Dario Vidosic hailing her as a “talented and commanding” presence who will add consistency to the defense.
The Seagulls are using their Spanish tour to build momentum, with Nnadozie expected to play a key role when the WSL kicks off on 5 September 2025.
